Do I Need a Router for dCloud Use?
Whether you need a router for dCloud depends on the content you plan to access:
A router is required when using IP phones or devices that do not support Cisco AnyConnect VPN.
A router is not necessary if you are using the dCloud Remote Desktop client.
Refer to the demo profile, catalog description, or related documentation for specific requirements—each demo will indicate if a router is required or optional.
For the best experience, especially with content featuring multiple endpoints, voice, and video, using a router is recommended.
Easy Meraki MX Setup for dCloud
Setting up your Meraki MX appliance for dCloud is simple and efficient:
Connect your Meraki MX to the Internet.
Add it to dCloud—no manual configuration required.
Enjoy zero touch setup: files downloaded from dCloud are ready to use immediately.
Spend less time on setup and more time developing your demos.
Tip: Register each Meraki MX device for dCloud use only once. Maintenance is easy—the device handles the rest.
Configuration is dynamically applied at Session Start and removed at Session End. Your Meraki MX will automatically connect to any dCloud session to which you assign it.
